Adult Enrichment Classes are offered quarterly and include a wide variety of classes and workshops from gardening to snowshoeing, from yoga to photography, and from book clubs to history lectures.

Lifelong Learning for Adults 55+ serves to enrich the lives of adults 55+ through educational, social, and intergenerational opportunities.

Access Services is a program that supports adults with disabilities in Minneapolis Community Education through specialized classes and inclusion support. Classes, volunteer opportunities, dances, and special events designed for adults with developmental disabilities are highlighted in the quarterly catalog.

High School Equivalency/GED classes are offered through our Adult Education department. Diploma programs are also available.

English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) programs include beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes, as well as driver's education programs.

Citizenship Classes teach students how to become a U.S. citizen, about U.S. history and government, and provide preparation for the citizenship interview and test.

Volunteering at Minneapolis Public Schools brings fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and patience into our schools while assisting teachers, staff, and students. Volunteers encourage students and inspire them to reach their potential.
