Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to kindergarten entrance. ECFE is based on the idea that the family provides a child’s first and most significant learning environment and parents are a child’s first and most important teachers.
Family Learning Child Care is an on-site child care service for student parents. In order to be eligible for services, parents must be enrolled and attending Minneapolis Public Schools. Parents may apply for placement in the child care during weekly registration periods. Parents are required to re enroll each school year. The program serves children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
Community Education offers family classes and events throughout the year including winter carnivals, family open swim, language classes, and more!
