Lean In Book Discussion (2 sessions)
 
Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer at Facebook, shares her personal stories in Lean In. She uses research to shine a light on gender differences, and offers practical advice to help women achieve their goals. The book challenges us to change the conversation from what women can’t do to what we can do, and serves as a rallying cry for us to work together to create a more equal world.

TED Talks (2 Sessions)
 
Using informative and interesting TED Talks as our instrument for discussion, Our first session we will be centered on motivation. Be ready to engage with your fellow members and learn great tools to applying motivation when it’s needed most.

Social Justice Workshop
 
Professor Keith Edwards will guide this session and explore the topics of wealth distribution, opportunities and privileges within our society. He will teach us tools to improve our awareness and actions so we can adjust our interactions and perspective. This session welcomes individuals with open minds and willingness to engage in challenging conversation topics.
 
Generational Diversity
 
In today’s multi-generational workplace it is more crucial than ever to be informed about generational diversity. Lisa Lynn will teach us how to understand and appreciate the competing viewpoints of five generations in the same workspace. Individuals will walk away with the ability to identify and understand generational viewpoints and learn how to coach /manage intergenerational teams to maximum performance.
 
Facilitation Skills Training
 
Skilled facilitator and presenter Russ Purdy will teach key skills on how to engage, inspire and present to groups of all sizes and levels. Come to add to new skills to your tool belt and enjoy learning how to apply new methods and creative ideas to your presentation style.
