Youth Programs

Minneapolis Kids

Minneapolis Kids provides school age care before and after school, on non-school days, and during the summer. Our programs operate out of MPS elementary schools throughout the city with transportation available to/ from homeschools that do not have a Minneapolis Kid program onsite. Financial assistance through county and community resources may be available to qualifying families.

Aquatics

Our swimming program offers lessons for all ages from four and up! Each session consists of one thirty minute lesson per week. Our class ratio is 4:1. We partner with the USA Swimming Foundation Make A Splash Initiative. The USA Swimming Foundation's Make a Splash initiative is a national child-focused water safety campaign, which aims to provide the opportunity for every child in America to learn to swim.

After School Academic & Enrichment Programs

This program includes a wide variety of academic and enrichment classes for youth in grades K-8, including: tutoring, academic skills development, dance, languages, cooking, sports, hobbies, games, and computers. Classes are low cost or free.
